Gamesalad Book Draft Complete!

Learn Mobile Game Development in 1 Day Using Gamesalad

I’ve been writing my first Gamesalad related book for the last few months and have just completed the first rough draft of the entire thing. The working title is “Learn Mobile Game Development in 1 Day Using Gamesalad”. Right now it stands at 58,096 words! I guess it’s time to knuckle down and start the cleanup and proof reading stage!

Hi Jamie, I would love to buy this book but I don’t know where to do it. Also, can it be shipped to Spain? Furthermore, I was wondering if you will update your “Year on the App Store” blog to give updated figures. Keep up the hard work, I can’t wait to start reading your book :D!

    • Hi Miguel, you can find more details on my book at this link:

If you purchase the printed copy through Amazon I’m sure you can have it shipped to Spain. The PDF and Kindle versions are digital so there would be no ‘shipping’ needed for those.

Hi Jamie, I just noticed that you have big ads in between scenes in your Burghatory app, are those too iAds or are they a different type and how do you set them up? Could you please do a tutorial or briefly explain in a comment? Thanks.

    • Hi Sam, those ads are Chartboost ads that are triggered using the Change Scene Behavior. I don’t currently have a tutorial on how to set that up bit its really pretty straight forward. You need to sign up with Chartboost and set up a campaign, Gamesalad has instructions on that ( After that you use the Change Scene Behavior and turn on the check box that says something to the effect of ‘show ad’. Hope that helps some.
